Children express themselves in a variety of ways and communicate to us through endless means. There are many ways to show your understanding. Environment as the 3rd Teacher:
The intentional use of materials, and environment enable children to learn from 1) the teacher 2) each other 3) the physical environment. Materials are carefully selected to invite or provoke children to explore. The child is an active creator and constructor of their learning. They learn through social and hands-on ways. Their ideas are celebrated and valued. Children are capable thinkers.
